A great option if the weather does not cooperate (as is often the case), bring the whole family to the Gallatin Valley Mall for Malloween Trick-or-Treat! From 5-7pm, participating retailers throughout the mall will be handing out candy and celebrating in fun costumes. Families will also have the opportunity to meet Champ, get free professional family photos taken, and stay warm and dry!
For those looking for a more traditional trick-or-treat experience, here are some of our favorite neighborhoods to frequent!
Bozeman Southside
There are several great neighborhoods on Bozeman's south side, a few of which are rumored to hand out full-size candy bars. Hit up the Triple Tree area, or take a stroll down South Willson. Lined with historic homes, this street is also known to go all out with the Halloween decorations. This area is well lit and maintained, making it a great choice for families.
Cooper Park Area
This neighborhood is a bit quieter, and a great choice for families just outside of town. Oozing old-school Bozeman charm, this area has some well-established homes and plenty of families should be out and about in this area.
Las Campanas Subdivision - Belgrade
For families in the Belgrade area, the entire Las Campanas Subdivision is a hot spot for trick-or-treaters. Keep an eye out for some great decorations, including a few houses that are known for their over-the-top Halloween transformations. Younger kids will often start trick-or-treating around 6 pm, but houses are usually prepared with candy until at least 9:00.
